Overview BigBear.ai is seeking a client-facing Financial Analyst to join our growing team. As a key member of our DOD - Financial Management team, you will play a crucial role in leveraging financial data and processes, to deliver meaningful insight to our customers. This role is hybrid/remote to Crystal City, VA and requires an active Secret clearance. What you will do Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand their financial management needs and provide tailored solutions to address their requirements. Utilize your in-depth knowledge of SAP-FM, Qlik, Oracle, and Power BI to analyze financial data, identify trends, and create visually compelling reports and dashboards. Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) activities from various feeder systems, ensuring data accuracy and consistency. Assist in the implementation and maintenance of financial systems, providing guidance and support to end-users. Conduct thorough financial analyses, reconciliations, and audits to ensure compliance with regulations and identify potential areas for improvement. Offer financial advisory services to clients, providing insights and recommendations based on your expert analysis. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in financial management and technology, providing innovative ideas to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. What you need to have Bachelor's Degree, experience may be accpeted in lieu of required education A minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a Financial Analyst, preferably within the DoD or government sector An Active Secret clearance Proficiency in SAP-FM, Oracle, or SQL, and Qlik, Tableau, or Power BI, with a track record of leveraging these tools to drive meaningful insights and support decision-making Experience working with transaction details in government financial accounting systems Experience interpreting financial reports, performing financial statement analysis, and providing recommendations Analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex financial data accurately Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients and stakeholders Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality results Recent DOD or IC experience Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines What we'd like you to have Excellent oral and written communication skills About BigBear.ai BigBear.ai is a leading provider of AI-powered decision intelligence solutions for national security, supply chain management, and digital identity.
