Title: Product Management, Manager

Overview: As a Product Manager on the SME team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our mission to empower Small Businesses and Lower Mid-Market (LMM) businesses. This role focuses on partnering with the Director and SME leadership in crafting the product strategy while owning the ideation, research, and creation of enabling capabilities to unlock usage and spend for our customers, and ultimately bringing them to market, globally. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and enhance tools that drive business growth and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

Support the Director and stakeholders in shaping product strategy by providing insights and contributing to decision-making processes

Own ideation, research, and the development of enabling capabilities that drive increased usage by End Users and revenue for our Distribution Partners

Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including engineering, design, marketing, and legal, to deliver innovative and user-friendly products

Partner with third-party providers/technology vendors to ensure seamless integration and value to the platform

Support go-to-market initiatives, including market research, product positioning, and launch planning

Leverage data-driven insights to guide product development and enhance customer experience

Work closely with development teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of product features

Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform product decisions

Develop and maintain product documentation, including user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria

Monitor and analyze product performance, using data to drive continuous improvement

Communicate effectively with stakeholders and provide regular updates on product progress and performance

Skills/Abilities/Experience:

3-5 years of experience in product management, preferably with Fintech or SaaS experience.

Focus on Small and/or Medium Businesses

Strong ability to empathize with customer needs and develop customer-centric products

Experience in working with third-party vendors and technology partners

Demonstrated success in working effectively across cross-functional teams (engineering, design, marketing, etc.) in fast-paced, growth-oriented environments

Excellent research and analytical skills, with a focus on turning insights into actionable product improvements

Advanced proficiency in product management tools such as Aha, JIRA, Confluence, or similar

Experience with agile methodologies and practices

In line with Mastercard’s total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.
