Job Description:

ISA is looking for a seasoned Project Manager with a background in consulting and change management to solve complex organizational challenges for the Department of Defense (DoD). In this role, you will manage a multi-disciplinary team supporting multiple Government functional capability managers and play an active role in client delivery, project management, training, and strategic thought leadership in support of DoD and Federal Government clients. Active participation in corporate growth, and business development activities is also expected. Successful candidates will be experienced and comfortable with planning and overseeing multiple simultaneous projects to ensure they are completed in a timely fashion and within budget, planning and designating project resources, preparing budgets, monitoring progress, and keeping stakeholders informed throughout every stage of the project. Your contributions will be pivotal in supporting our government clients' critical missions and shaping courses of action.

  • If this position is a remote position, you'll primarily work as a remote employee, but may periodically work from an ISA or client site facility. (This work model is only used when a position cannot otherwise be filled with onsite personnel and is allowable by client requirements. This work model is offered as required only.

Responsibilities:

The Project Manager will be responsible to lead and manage a team on contract task orders while supporting day to day activities required for successful contract performance. The Project Manager will develop and review contract deliverables, ensure program schedules are met or exceeded, and monitor labor/travel funds. You will be responsible for interfacing with employees, subcontractors, government leadership, and the contracting office and representatives.

Duties:

The duties of a Project Manager include but are not limited to:

  • Determine and define project scope and objectives
  • Predict and manage resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner
  • Prepare budget based on scope of work and resource requirements
  • Track project costs and adjust project planning to meet budget
  • Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan
  • Supervise and mentor subordinate team members
  • Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress
  • Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communic ting expected deliverables
  • Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution
  • Monitor progress and adjust as needed
  • Develop and Implement Quality Control and Assurance processes
  • Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement

Skills and Experience:

  • Prior DoD or Government Contracting experience
  • 8-10 years in a management role seeing projects through the full life cycle
  • Experience with change management, consulting, and leading teams to create executive-level deliverables, often in short or condensed schedules
  • Experience leveraging data analytics to present analysis to stakeholders
  • Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
  • Proven analytical skills to solve complex organizational challenges
  • Proven ability to manage cost, schedule and performance to successful completion
  • Excellent leadership and communication abilities with the ability to develop and execute upon a clear vision, strategy, and/or goals
  • Proven ability to solve problems creatively
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail, quality and professionalism
  • Ability to interact with and present to professionals and senior civilian and DoD/Military executives of varying levels up through the "C-Suite" in both industry and government

Supervisory Responsibilities:The Project Manager will be responsible for leading a team of employees

Clearance Required:

Applicants must have at least an active Secret clearance and be able to obtain a clearance at the TS/SCI level with Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph. Preference will be given to those who have an active TS/SCI clearance. Applicants must be able to submit documentation establishing U.S. Person status upon hiring. All ISA employees are required to uphold and maintain trustworthiness and suitability requirements of the U.S. federal government.

Experience Required:

Level III: A minimum of 5 years of project management, change management, or related leadership experience or

Level IV: 8 -10 years of project management, change management, or related leadership experience is needed for this position.

Education:

A bachelor's degree is required; MBA or other advanced degree preferred

Salary at ISA is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The salary range for
