Amazon Senior Partner Manager, SAP, AWS Strategic Alliances in Arlington, Virginia

Description

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking an experienced alliance manager to join our AWS for SAP business in North America. This strategic position requires an individual you can manage and enhance our relationships with SAP, including associated partners, driving both go-sell and go-to-market strategies that align with AWS priorities. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of both AWS and SAP ERP with a proven track record in managing alliances, partnerships and business development in the technology industry.

Key job responsibilities

1/ Develop and execute strategic plans to grow AWS's footprint within SAP, targeting key areas for collaboration and mutual growth.

2/ Maintain and strengthen relationships with SAP, ensuring alignment and cooperation on various projects and sales initiatives.

3/ Coordinate with internal teams, including sales, marketing and technical teams, to craft compelling joint value proposition's and ensure effective governance of the relationship

4/ Manage cross-functional teams and projects within AWS and with SAP to drive new business opportunities

5/ Represent AWS as SAP-related events, conferences, QBRs and more, enhancing the brand's presence and visibility

6/ Monitor market trends and competitor activities within SAP landscape to guide strategic decision making

7/ Facilitate enablement sessions for SAP

8/ Manage regular pipeline and business reporting and success metrics, ensuring clear communication of results and achievements to senior leadership.

Basic Qualifications

  • 6+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience

  • 5+ years of professional or military experience

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level

  • Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations

  • Experience identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements

  • Experience with technology transformation initiatives

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $118,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $220,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
