SAIC Senior Support Services Analyst in ARLINGTON, Virginia

Description

SAIC is seeking a Senior Support Services Analyst to provide assistance on-site in the Pentagon in working as part of contract team with the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), Cost Assessment and Program Evaluation (CAPE) Information Management and Analysis Group (IMAG).

  • The Senior Support Services Analyst provides CAPE with dedicated Information Technology Service Provider Liaison Analyst support to analyze IMAG’s Enterprise systems. Also, train and assist staff on these IMAG systems, as well as entering and tracking ticket for issues on these systems.

  • This position also supports CAPE as the correspondence lead. This includes receiving tasks and informational items from several DoD systems and via email, assigning the task within CAPE, and tracking the task.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical guidance and skills in support of information systems development and integration efforts.

  • Provide technical and administrative support for information systems development tasks, including the execution of technical tasks, the review of work products for correctness, adherence to the design concept and to user standards, and the progress of tasks in accordance with schedules.

  • Coordinate with management staff to confirm problem solution and user satisfaction

  • Perform integration and beta testing, document test incidents and enhancements, and work with developers to resolve issues and clarify requirements

  • Utilize MS SharePoint application to organize and share documents and to host applications for use throughout the component.

  • Train new users on the features of the available applications, files and data organization, and relevant CAPE procedures associated with data and supporting applications.

  • Assist with setting permissions, maintaining sites, and conducting ad hoc document searches in SharePoint.

  • Support OSD CAPE’s action process by initiating, assigning, tracking, and closing actions.

  • Communicate with outside components within DoD and a myriad of systems to gather the review documents and distribute OSD CAPE’s responses.

  • Access and utilize systems external to CAPE including CATMS, Issuance Portal, CHARRTS, and Green Sheets.

  • For each of these systems, obtain coordination notifications and download pertinent review documents.

  • Use local applications to capture the coordination record and to notify CAPE Staff.

  • Once CAPE completes their official response to the coordination requests, upload the response to the outside system as well as into the internal system.

  • For these external systems, report any issues found to the system administrators for action.

  • Support the Front Office of CAPE by tracking any high level OSD Executive Secretariat actions.

  • Provide a weekly report to the Front Office listing late coordination actions and those due the following week.

  • Provide support to OSD CAPE’s personnel system (PMRS) and maintain data within the system.

  • Utilize the Joint Chiefs of Staff’s KMDS system to create coordination actions for CAPE within CAPE’s JCIDS system.

  • Download the review files from KMDS and create a JCIDS tracking record and assigns it to the appropriate CAPE personnel.

  • Upload any response CAPE may have to KMDS. Run a weekly report for CAPE of JCIDS issues that have been opened, archived, and the type of response made.

Qualifications

Required Experience/Skills:

  • A bachelors degree and minimum of five (5) years of experience facilitating the development of software tools and applications for office operations.

  • Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

  • Experience interfacing with DoD senior leaders at the highest levels of DoD.

  • Possess experience with relevant professional program work efforts (Information Workflow, Administrative, and Records Management support) preferably within OSD or the DoD

  • Commitment to exceptional client service and professionalism.

  • Familiarity with office administration and correspondence processes as a result of previous government, military and/or private sector assignments.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work as part of a team.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite of Applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and common office software applications.

  • Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat Professional and MS SharePoint

  • In-depth knowledge in systems, policies, procedures, personnel, and decision support data to provide useful business process applications and tools used by CAPE personnel.

Desired Skills:

  • Previous experience working with OSD CAPE offices.

  • Familiarity with the following or similar processes and tools: IMAG Process, CAPE Enterprise Database, PEST, KMDS, JCIDS, CATMS, Directives Portal, CHARRTS, Green Sheets.

  • Previous experience with Records Management.

  • Ability to problem-solve in a time-constrained environment and to take initiative and work independently as appropriate.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks through strong organizational skills.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Active Secret clearance.

  • US Citizenship.
