Position Summary:

Nestlé USA’s Corporate Decision Support (DS) Team is responsible for analyzing financial data, creating financial analyses, and providing insights and recommendations to support business decisions across the entire business portfolio.

We are currently seeking a Corporate FP&A analyst to support our Financial Planning & Analysis organization. The analyst will report directly into the Corporate DS Sr. Manager and operate as the lead resource supporting the Nutrition & GCK Divisions. The role will leverage the central pool of insights and analyses offered by Corporate DS but will work embedded within the Nutrition & GCK Divisions, to ensure a high level of service. The analyst will assist the Divisions’ Sr. Finance Managers in the preparation and maintenance of financial forecasts, management reporting, and ongoing business reviews. The individual must be able to effectively collaborate and communicate across multiple functions throughout the organization, to promote alignment and drive results to meet or exceed business objectives.

Primary Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Perform variance analyses of monthly actuals and forecast changes for the Nutrition & GCK Divisions, including:

  • Volume / Mix / Rate Analyses

  • YTD / YTG Analyses

  • Changes vs. Prior Year

  • Changes vs. Prior DF

  • Collaborate with brand and functional finance teams, understanding key variance drivers, projecting impacts on financial forecasts, and communicating supportive narrative

  • Own Oracle and OMP support for Nutrition & GCK Divisions

  • Support Nutrition & GCK Divisions in annual Market Business Strategy (MBS) process

  • Support Nutrition & GCK Divisions as well as Corporate Decision Support team in ad-hoc analyses and presentation preparation

  • Be primary liaison between Nutrition & GCK Divisions ensuring efficiencies and maximization of level of standardization across Divisions and Corporate Decision Support team

  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve the catalogue of reports and analyses offered by Corporate Decision Support

Requirements and Minimum Education Level:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting / Finance or similar field

  • 3-4 years prior experience in Finance preferred

  • Ideal candidate is results focused, a self-starter with strong initiative, naturally inquisitive, able to think independently and has a desire to make a difference

  • Capability to manage several priorities and projects simultaneously

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Communicate effectively and professionally in written and verbal form, including presentation skills

  • Intermediate/advanced knowledge of Microsoft Suite

  • Working Knowledge of Oracle / SAP / BW preferred
