Amazon Sr. Sales Manager, Seller Growth Program in Arlington, Virginia

Each year, hundreds of thousands of businesses start their journey Selling on Amazon. Our business is responsible for recruiting, developing, and ensuring Sellers achieve success selling on Amazon as quickly as possible. Our vision is to help entrepreneurs, emerging Brands, and Sellers connect to customers on Amazon. Today, the 3P Seller business represents approximately 60% of the total Amazon.com sales and continues to accelerate, presenting you with the opportunity to join us and help our customers discover amazing products offered by Sellers.

We are looking for a talented Sr. Sales Manager to scale our Seller Growth program. We are looking for an analytical thinker who has experience, and will be excited to develop and execute sales strategies, tactics, plans, processes and programs for our 3P Seller business. The leader will work and thrive in a fast pace environment and utilize their great communication skills to manage a top performing sales team.

A successful candidate will lead a team of Account Representatives responsible for the growth of small to medium businesses. They will be an effective listener, communicator, problem-solver and people leader. The ideal candidate will exhibit a high level of senior leadership in influencing partner organizations, drive strategic organizational vision and planning, and develop leaders to execute on goals and initiatives.

Key job responsibilities

• Hire, develop, and grow a high performing team of Account Executives

• Create sales strategies to deliver results on key KPIs.

• Set goals and strategic direction for the team, ensuring alignment with broader business goals and vision.

• Lead strategic projects to formalize and scale organizational processes.

• Earn trust of customers by understanding business needs and capabilities to recommend product solutions.

• Translate Customer KPIs to influence standard of work with internal stakeholders.

• Create program goals and related metrics, track progress, and manage through obstacles to achieve objectives.

• Execute programs that address challenges and barriers faced by small- and medium-sized businesses in adopting e-commerce solutions

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree.

• 10+ years managing large sales teams hiring and developing sales talent

• 5+ years implementing account segmentation, account strategies, and CRM strategies.

• 5+ years creating and tracking individual and team sales goals

• Demonstrated ability to influence and partner with global teams, across multiple functions including Product, Tech, Operations, and Sales

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience reaching and exceeding sales revenue goals

• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication (written and verbal) skills

• MBA or advanced degree

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $71,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $172,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
