We are a manufacturer of structural parts for the leading original equipment manufacturers (OEM's) in the large business and regional jet markets. Responsible for the safe maintenance, repair or replacement of plant equipment or systems, to ensure maximum production quantity and quality, while supporting the policies, goals, and objectives of the company. What will my responsibilities include? Participate in objective setting, plan development and performance review of the manufacturing plant ( M3 meeting ) Participates in daily maintenance/production meeting and coordinates maintenance activities with Plant Operations Departments Initiates, implements, and manages the machine maintenance program, with an emphasis on planning / scheduling and preventative / predictive maintenance Monitors the use and inventories of spare parts, maintenance supplies, and equipment and initiates reordering when necessary Establishes and maintains a computerized maintenance management system for tracking work orders, spare parts, and maintenance history on plant machines and equipment Prepares reports, analyzes data, and makes recommendations for improving plant operations and maintenance-related problems Supervises machine maintenance and chips and coolant personnel Ensures maintenance technicians are adequately trained and equipped to ensure that maintenance can be performed in a safe, timely, and cost effective manner Conducts employee performance reviews based on job description to determine competency Assists with planning and implementing plant improvements and expansions Ensure complete compliance to QMS, EH&S, and Lean/5S processes. Obtains bids for various repairs and capital projects Oversees contractors for work schedules and safety Performs other duties as assigned. What key skills and experience do I need? Exhibits and demands high ethical standards in relations with personnel, suppliers and customers Good verbal and written communication skills Strong attention to detail. Positive leadership. What qualifications should I have? Preferred: 3-5 years experience as a Maintenance Manager position preferably in aerospace industry.
