Job Title: Production Supervisor

Job Description

The Production Supervisor is responsible for driving the cooking department results through effective resource management, safe operating procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s), and regulatory compliance.

Detailed Roles & Responsibilities: - Overseeing the production process: from the entry of the raw material to the exit of the finished goods - Ensuring that the production is cost-effective - Ensuring that products are produced in a timely manner and within quality guidelines - Foreseeing potential problems before they happen - Liaising among different departments - Working with department heads to uphold and implement company policies and goals - Ensuring health and safety guidelines are followed - Supervising and motivating a team of workers - Identifying training needs, and ensuring proper training is provided - Conducting daily meetings with team leaders and crew to discuss attendance, job allocation, goals, safety issues, notices from admin, and performance appreciation - Highlighting rules and regulations to ensure compliance - Performing other duties assigned by the manager

Hard Skills

  • 3+ years leadership experience, preferably in food manufacturing

  • Demonstrated ability to direct, coach, and develop a team of 20 associates on a daily basis

  • Experience implementing Continuous Improvement tools to improve Packaging & OEE Performance preferred

  • Prior knowledge of ADP and ERP systems a plus

Soft Skills

  • Leads by example to create and maintain a workplace culture that engages and motivates associates at all levels

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate and develop relationships across all levels and functions of the organization to support overall business success

  • Proven ability to make sound decisions regarding resource utilization and needs

This is a fully on-site position in Arlington, Washington.
