Job Title:Quality Manager

Reporting To:Director & GM, Space Sector BU

Work Schedule:Onsite - Arvada, CO

To be considered for this role, here's what you'll need to bring with you:

Bachelor's degree in engineering, math, science, or other technical fields. 5+ years of functional leadership experience. Demonstrated business acumen, and experience dealing with suppliers and/or customers. This position requires access to United States Export Controlled information. Experience outside of QA functionsin one or more engineering or production roles. 6 Sigma and/or Lean Certification preferred.

The Space Vehicles team is growing and comprises a cross-disciplinary group of industry veterans and young talent alike. The focus is on the development of satellite buses, Orbital Maneuvering Vehicles (OMVs), space tugs, and more. The team is a tight-knit group of collaboration-oriented professionals that welcome others looking to work on multi-faceted, complex problems as a team.

The Arvada, CO location is nestled near the foothills of the front range, just west of Denver. The office is a 10-minute drive from downtown Golden and Arvada and is an easy commute from most of the Denver Metro area. Colorado offers year-round outdoor activities and is a melting pot of cultures.

As aQuality Manager, you will be: Leading improvements for a business management system that meets customer and regulatory requirements including but not limited to AS9100/ISO9000, AS9102, AS9103, AS9134, AS9145, Missile Defense Agency's "Mission Assurance Provisions" (MAP) and "Parts, Materials and Processes" (PMAP) but which places Moog in the best of class in terms of on time delivery, high quality and lowest cost Developing organizational capabilities to improve quality and customer satisfaction while achieving optimal total cost of quality. This includes skills and tools such as Quality Function Deployment, Design Risk Analysis, Failure Modes and Effects Analysis, Measurement System Analysis, Statistical Process Control, Process Capability Studies, Problem solving, error proofing, metrology, calibration, Advanced Statistical Analysis tools, Leading continuous improvement in error prevention processes, and process variation reduction. Responsible for interfacing directly with customer and suppliers to ensure partnerships are established and developed for mutual benefit and long-term sustainable customer and supplier enthusiasm. Responsible for internal and external audit coordination in support of our Quality Audit programs.

Salary Range Transparency:Arvada, CO $160,000.00-$200,000.00 Annually

Salary Range Disclaimer The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees.
