Purpose of the role

To effectively lead and manage a TFM service delivery across part of the Anglo American and De Beers portfolio reporting into the Account Manager. The role will be based at De Beers technologies Belmont Rd, Maidenhead SL6 6JW, Central London and other locations within the UK.

Key Responsibilities

1 Provide leadership to the onsite teams and supply partners.

2 Ensure site presence to all locations within their remit on a weekly basis, this should include team and client meetings.

3 Ensure that contractual commitments are met and exceeded, including client KPIs and compliance.

4 Ensuring business policies and processes are effectively communicated, and implemented within the contract.

5 Ensure the provision of healthy and safe working conditions and that both clients and Company health and safety policy and process is effectively implemented across both CBRE services and subcontractors activities, and are regularly reviewed by way of auditing.

6 Ensure optimum staffing structures operate across contracts, balancing cost reduction with the delivery of service excellence. Ensure structures support peaks and troughs in workload, and disaster recovery.

7 Ensure contracts are staffed by fully competent teams, ensuring post holders are fully competent and all training matrices are up to date.

8 Work with the Account Manager to ensure effective succession planning arrangements are in place across the team.

9 Working with other Operational managers to ensure the collaborative development of the business, effective team working, and support to colleagues.

10 Development of contract financial plans for revenue and profit delivery, reduction of WIP, debt, cost reduction and contract growth, and ensure that these are met and exceeded.

11 Ensure appropriate control systems to ensure statutory, policy and contractual commitments are met.

12 Ensuring a customer focus within all areas of operational activities, and that effective relationships are maintained with key client contacts.

13 Promoting and maintaining the core Values of CBRE/ AADB.

14 Provision of leadership and guidance, advice, coaching and direct support, where required to deliver best practice selection, training, assessment and recognition/reward.

15 Delivering effective business communication through contribution to management and team meetings, monthly and ad-hoc reporting and other publications, as appropriate.

16 Ensuring site log books are compliant and kept up to date and conduct regular reviews of operating procedures making recommendations for improvement with appropriate working practices and emergency/contingency procedures within the critical systems.

17 Assisting the Client and Account Manager with other tasks when required.

18 Meeting with supply partners on a regular basis to discuss service delivery, performance and innovation or new ways of working that would improve current service delivery.

Accountabilities

  • Accountable for ensuring contractual standards are met and exceeded.

  • Accountable for the staff and suppliers that work within your remit.

  • Financial responsibility for the delivery of plan commitments for the contract.

Personal Specification

  • A good basic education is essential, with good written and spoken English and basic mathematics skills.

  • Experience in Building Services industry and a similar client facing role.

· Possess an understanding of Health and Safety issues, NEBOSH /IOSH, or equivalent formal training.

· Sound understanding and experience of managing their own P&L.

· Strong communication skills. Ability to lead, motivate and direct a team of technicians/operatives.

  • Strong organisational and communication skills with the ability to prioritise workloads.

  • Ability to work under pressure whilst remaining calm, clear thinking and able to deliver the required services to the client within given time constraints.
