What You Will Do:

The Pratt and Whitney CMM Programming team seeks to implement CMM and automated inspection technology. The job will consist of CMM programming and working with Engineering and Manufacturing personnel to implement various programming projects.

  • Programming CMMs, writing analysis scripts for CMM and non-contact inspection devices,

  • Occasional direct measurements of artifacts/parts in the Metrology Lab.

  • Development of production-ready inspection programs

  • Integration of automated measurement & test equipment

  • Expect occasional travel, especially to benchmark and work with other PW Sites

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of experience, AND 5-8 years of related experience required

  • OR a Master's Degree with 3 or more years of Experience

  • OR an Associate's Degree with 7 or more years of experience

  • Must be comfortable working in a shop environment and presenting in technical meetings.

  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program / contract

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Aerospace industry experience

  • MODUS, Camio, analysis software such as GOM, POLYWORKS and/or GEOMAGIC, and other helpful software such as PYTHON, MINITAB, NX.

  • Familiarity with REVO Multi-sensor technologies is a plus.

  • Knowledge of GD&T per ASMEY14.5, calibration systems per ANSIZ540.3, airfoil geometry

  • Experience with measurement system evaluation (gage R&R, methodology review, correlation studies, etc) in support of Manufacturing Readiness Levels, PPAP, and Process Control

  • Prior exposure to automation, robotic integration, RFID system is a plus

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.

Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
