Sinclair Broadcast Group Sales & Marketing Consultant in Asheville, North Carolina
POSITION SUMMARY
WLOS is looking for a marketing specialist and dedicated outside sales professional responsible for driving growth of assigned accounts, uncovering new opportunities, nurturing strong relationships with existing clients, and establishing a network to support overall account growth. Marketing Consultants are also expected to learn and utilize the entire Sinclair portfolio of assets when identifying solutions and generating proposals.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Ability to generate new business through cold calls and utilization of proprietary prospecting tools. Maintain and continuously grow a book of business or list of accounts by maintaining an accurate pipeline of prospects through consistent outreach and follow-up.
Create effective marketing campaigns for clients and conduct ongoing business reviews to ensure campaigns meet client business needs and exceed client expectations.
Analyze key data points within sales reports, maintain awareness of market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback, and adjust strategies as needed to maximize campaign performance.
Deliver weekly revenue forecasts within plus or minus 2% accuracy utilizing in-house sales tools and data-rich systems to craft an executable and realistic business plan to meet individual goals.
Ability to use and maintain records of sales activities and client interactions in CRM system daily.
Provide superior customer service to achieve a brand reputation for reliability, consistency, and credibility in addition to establishing a personal rapport and likeability with local business owners and professional networks.
Ability to be on time for an In-Person 8am- 5pm workday M-Fri and conduct business in a professional manner.
PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE
Proven Sales Track Record: Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets in current or previous role.
Candidates should be able to provide examples of achievements , including metrics or results (e.g. percentage growth, revenue generated or deals closed)
Experience in B2B, B2C highly preferred
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills,
Ability to adapt quickly in an unpredictable and rapidly changing environment
Excellent critical thinking, and time management / prioritization skills
High-level proficiency with MS Office applications
Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and satisfactory driving record
Self-motivated and results-driven .
Comfortable working in a competitive, target-driven environment
