Nesco Resource CNC Machinist - Ashland in Ashland, Ohio

Looking for work for a small, family-owned CNC machine shop? Nesco Resource has partnered with a client in the Ashland area who is looking for a Quality-Oriented Machinist to join their team. Job title: CNC/Machinist Location: Ashland, OH Shift: 1^ st^ (Monday through Thursday 6 am to 3:30 pm and Friday 6 am to 10 am. Overtime will be on Friday until 3:30 pm if needed) Salary: $20 to $30 based on experience Job duties include but not limited to:

  • Set up and operate CNC machines to produce precision parts according to specifications
  • Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and job orders
  • Use various measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and bore gauges to ensure accuracy of parts
  • Monitor machine operations and make-adjustments as necessary to maintain quality standards
  • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve production processes
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a CNC Machinist with Milling & Turning experience
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
  • MasterCam a plus
  • Ability to create CNC G-Code programs a plus
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Screening
