Job Description:

As a CDL A Truck Driver, Local - 1st Shift (Richmond, VA) at Pitney Bowes Presort Services, you’ll play a crucial role in our daily operations. You’ll be responsible for local deliveries and pick-ups, ensuring timely transportation of mail and parcels. You will receive a competitive hourly pay of $29.00 every week, with overtime opportunities.

Your work schedule will be:

• Monday: 04:30 - 13:30

• Tuesday: Off

• Wednesday: 04:30 - 13:30

• Thursday: 03:30 - 14:00

• Friday: 04:30 - 13:30

• Saturday: 06:00 - 10:00

Responsibilities:

• Maintain a daily driver’s log or route sheet, accurately recording mileage, stops, and cargo details.

• Adhere to pickup and delivery schedules, utilizing software tools to optimize efficiency.

• Keep the vehicle and work area clean, following safety and security protocols.

• Demonstrate regular attendance and use required cell phone applications.

• Understand and follow company policies regarding safety and security.

Qualifications:

• Minimum age of 21 years.

• Valid Class A License, meeting applicable DOT requirements for CDL.

• At least six months of verifiable driving experience, covering a minimum of 75,000 miles in the last five years with a safe driving record.

• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs., walk, stand, stoop, and bend as needed.

• Basic English proficiency to understand and follow operational directions.
