ASC Engineered Solutions is looking for a Maintenance Technician to assist our Maintenance Department with the day-to-day operations for maintaining a clean, safe work environment. The main responsibilities associated with this role are to maintain cleanliness both inside and outside of the facility. Daily, sometimes hourly, inspections throughout key areas of the facility will need to take place to ensure areas are free of any oil leaks and spills. This person will also be responsible for reporting any possible safety hazards they may come across while inspecting various areas throughout the facility, directly to Maintenance Manager in an effort to get those findings addressed and corrected to prevent any safety hazards from taking place.

Ultimately, a successful Maintenance Technician will be a team player and will display the drive and motivation necessary to help the overall structure of our Maintenance Department . This individual will also exercise judgment and make decisions that have positive operational impacts on the business line.

Essential Job Duties:

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician at our Ashtabula, OH Manufacturing Facility

• Complete mechanical repairs and makes adjustments as needed
• Perform preventative maintenance on all machinery as assigned
• Successfully troubleshoot mechanical problems
• Complete welding and fabrication tasks with little direction
• Accountable for entering data into maintenance system timely and accurately
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Perform advanced electrical skills in order to work in maintenance field safely
• Machine shop mill and lathe work
• Other duties as assigned

Required Skills:

Advanced electrical knowledge

Advanced knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics and plumbing

Advanced mechanical, welding and cutting skills

Should be capable of reading mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic prints

Good problem solving skills, safety practices and attention to quality

Have workbench and computer skills
