Here, you can make an impact and make a difference. Come join us. Huntsman is seeking a Mechanical Reliability Engineer supporting the Advanced Materials Division located in Ashtabula, Ohio. This position will report to the Engineering Manager. Job Scope Manage activity supporting site Mechanical Integrity requirements and optimization of maintenance reliability. Participate in plant capital planning and execution as appropriate to support reliability. As the Mechanical Reliability Engineer, you will: Maintain equipment files & CMMS info with up-to-date prints, factory spec sheets, and equipment parts lists. Consult with Purchasing to specify and stock correct replacement parts. Support Maintenance activity by developing performance indicators, creating or revising design specifications, and reviewing technical information with maintenance craft workers. Continual improvement in general maintenance knowledge through coordinating or providing training and other educational tools. Review and interpret historical equiment data to revise Predictive / Preventative Maintenance tasks and schedules for improving equipment performance and reliability. Coordinate or facilitate inspection of equipment in accordance with RAGAGEP as applied to Huntsman facilities. Adhere to all corporate capital processes, procedures and engineering standards, as well as corporate and site EHS procedures while planning and executing projects. Participate in preparation of annual capital budget, developing cost estimates, financial justifications, and project templates for approval. Ensure that all corporate and site purchasing procedures are followed in the execution of capital purchases. Essential functions require presence in the workplace on a regular basis and an ability to work extra hours if needed. If applicable, ability to work overtime may be needed to ensure required staffing capacity to meet daily production objectives. Work collaboratively with team members with different backgrounds and perspectives. Assist other employees in accomplishments of Huntsman company goals. Follows instructions and performs other duties as may be assigned by supervisor. Participate in Environmental, Health, & Safety initiatives as set forth by the company. Participate in and completes company-required training programs Required Qualifications: You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. The candidate must have an unrestricted right to work for Huntsman in the United States. Bachelor's degree (4 years) in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering (preferred) with 7+ years of related work experience. 3 + years of experience in chemical industry required. Preferred Qualifications: PE licensing a plus. Knowledge of Process Safety, OSHA, and EPA regulations a plus Specific Skills and Knowledge: * Must have a level of proficiency with Internet, Email, and Microsoft
