Associate Sales Executive - Lodge Kohler

Work Mode: Hybrid

Location: Green Bay, WI

Opportunity

Associate Sales Executive dedicated to maintain a focused sales effort to maximize business travel (typically defined as Corporate Rates, Business Travel Rates) in achieving proposed occupancy and financial goals for the hotel. Responsible for promoting and representing the resort in a sales capacity for Business Travel business

Specific Responsibilities

  • Is an independent contributor who operates with a great deal of support and direction while achieving knowledge, experience, and independence in the Associate Sales Executive role.

  • Active and participative member of group sales team. Working within guidelines to promote team and individual productivity and growth.

  • Achieve or exceed business travel room night / revenue goals as outlined in the approved financial plan and sales leadership.

  • Achieve or exceed weekly prospecting call and in person sales call objectives as determined by sales leadership.

  • Produce targeted sales action plans on a quarterly and annual basis for assigned market segments.

  • Achieve and maintain exceptional knowledge of all Kohler hospitality businesses: history, business operations etc.

  • Conduct tours of hospitality businesses for qualified clients, personally representing Kohler Hospitality as a luxury destination.

  • Represent Kohler Hospitality -- on property, in the field and at industry events – by embodying our luxury standards in your delivery and attire.

  • Develop and maintain Key Accounts within assigned market segments and promote repeat bookings and group bookings.

  • Utilize all hospitality resources responsibly.

  • Provide consistent and timely delivery of services to clients and assure guest satisfaction.

  • Organize assigned event(s) (Familiarization trip, in market events, offsite promotion etc.) complete with timeline for completion while maintaining approved budget.

  • Provide detailed client information maintained in client management system, Amadeus/Delphi.

  • Assist in Yielding and Data Entry into PMS and other connected systems.

  • Active participation in the Manager On Duty program.

  • Handle duties as assigned by sales leadership.

TRAVEL

  • Attend industry trade shows as mutually determined with sales leadership.

  • Individual membership within particular industry organizations such as: GBTA and MPI.

  • Participation demands vary with each organization.

  • Must be able to travel to client offices for sales calls.

  • Active participation in local membership organizations for all outside sales representatives.

Typical hours are 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday.

Skills/Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree is required

  • Previously sales experience required. Hotel sales experience preferred, ideally, within a luxury property.

  • Effective oral & written communication skills, excellent follow through, and an ability to multi-task

  • Excellent listening, communication and presentation abilities; Computer literate

  • Must possess a valid driver's license.

The salary range for this position is $55,200 - $69,000 plus incentive bonus plan. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. Available benefits include medical, dental, vision & 401k.
