Full time Dietary Cooks needed for Senior Living Center Benefits included with stable schedule, competitive pay depending on experience.

Description:

Prepare residents' meals in accordance with diet orders and daily menus.

Assist the food service supervisor to determine the amount and type of food necessary to prepare the daily menus for residents.

Monitor use of food to eliminate waste and follow posted menus for food preparations ,

Stock food in compliance with dietary policies and procedures.

Able to unload truck and stock products in the freezer and coolers.

Maintain a clean healthy working environment.

Other duties are that are required:

Follow menus and prepare food and beverages

Organize duties to complete tray service in a timely manner

Assure kitchen equipment and surfaces are clean and sanitized according to dietary procedures

Able to unload truck and stock products in freezer and coolers

Store food in compliance with dietary procedures

Able to stand, bend squat and physically lift up to 50 lbs.

Must be willing to wash rinse and sanitize dishes when needed and must be able to complete other cleaning duties and follow instructions .
