Confidential Employer Receptionist/Administrative Assistant in Aston, Pennsylvania

The Receptionist/Administrative Assistant will receive and direct visitors and callers as well as perform administrative duties related to the operations of the human resource office.

Role and Responsibilities:

·       Receives and directs visitors and callers in a positive and professional manner.

·       Ensures CRC front desk has coverage for callers and visitors during core business hours.

·       Enters data and documents into HRIS software. Proofreads employee records in HRIS for accuracy.

·       Enters data and documents in training tracking software.

·       Maintains physical personnel files in an organized fashion.

·       Takes minutes during departmental meetings.

·       Receives and distributes office mail.

·       Prepares required paperwork for employee transfers, changes in job classification, salary increases, and other related employment matters.

·       Orders office and general safety supplies. Handles small amounts of petty cash.

·       May assist with the preparation of human resource reports.

·       Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

·       Positive attitude and ability to represent the company professionally to customers, government officials, vendors, and other visitors

·       At least one year of reception experience or related experience

·       Excellent attention to detail

·       Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·       Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, including and especially Microsoft Excel

·       Ability to operate general office equipment (printer, scanner, phone)

Ability to maintain confidential information

Preferred Skills:

·       Experience with Freshteam or similar HRIS software

·       High school diploma or equivalent

·       Prior HR experience or education

Working Conditions:

·       The physical environment may require the employee to work both inside and outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions.

·       Safety Glasses, Durable pants, and Steel Toe Shoes/Boots are required to be worn while on shop floor.  Hearing protection, safety gloves, high visibility vests, and other PPE to be provided on an as needed basis.

·       No loose clothing is permitted on the shop floor.

·       Work involves prolonged periods sitting at a desk/working on a computer.

·       Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
