This position performs radiographic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment. Assumes responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required. On call responsibility is an expectation of this position. Job Requirements Knowledge of /Skill/Ability to: Shall have a thorough knowledge of all aspects of general diagnostic radiography to include surgical, portable and routine fluoroscopic studies License/Certification: Must have ARRT Registration and Certification; must possess a current Oregon State Radiologic Technologist License; current BLS required through AHA. Education and/or Experience: Must maintain continuing education requirements as specified by the State of Oregon and ARRT Experience: Minimum one year experience, preferably in an acute care setting. Physical Demands and Work Environment Conditions / ADA Compliance Must be in generally good health with the ability to use mobile radiographic equipment as needed for patient care; must be able to transport patients as appropriate as well as assist in patient transfers and the lifting as needed. Position involves standing, walking, stooping, and occasional carrying and lifting of lightweight materials (up to 20 pounds). May be required to sit for extended periods of time. Requires visual acuity and depth perception to recognize words and numbers; and hand and finger dexterity and hand/eye coordination to use a computer keyboard and common office equipment.
