System One M&TE Instrumentation Technician in Athens, Alabama

System One has an immediate need for a M&TE Instrumentation Technician for fall outage at Browns Ferry. Must be able to report for training on 8/29/2024.

Responsibilities

PLANS, SCHEDULES, CONDUCTS OR COORDINATES DETAILED PHASES OF MTE INSTRUMENTATION TECHNICAL WORK.

PERFORMS INDEPENDENT WORK INVOLVING THE TECHNICAL DESIGN OF INSTRUMENTATION MTE CONCEPTS AND PRACTICES.

GOOD KNOWLEDGE OF PRACTICES OF RELATED AREA.

ACTS AS A FULLY COMPETENT MTE TECHNICIAN IN ALL CONVENTIONAL EXPERIENCE ASPECTS OF THE SUBJECT MATTER OF THE FUNCTIONAL AREA OF ASSIGNMENTS.

PLANS AND CONDUCTS WORK REQUIRING JUDGMENT IN THE INDEPENDENT EVALUATION, SELECTION AND SUBSTANTIAL ADAPTATION AND MODIFICATION OF STANDARD TECHNIQUES, PROCEDURES AND CRITERIA.

REQUIRES SUFFICIENT PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE TO ENSURE COMPETENCE AS A FULLY TRAINED WORKER.

Requirements:

Associate Degree from an Accredited Curriculum or Equivalent

At least 3 years of experience as an M&TE Technician

Must be able to obtain and maintain unescorted nuclear plant access

Obtain Medical Qualifications - when applicable.
