Waystar Advanced Application Engineer in Atlanta, Georgia

Waystar Inc. seeks an Advanced Application Engineer to be based at the office in Atlanta, Georgia.duties include: Propose technical solutions to the Manager, Application Engineering; Design/develop/test/implement improvements or new features into the Waystar website and core processing applications; Develop/augment applications based on functional and technical specifications; Unit tests all changes on development and works w/ Business or Technology Owner to ensure solution meets business requirements; Resolve issues blocking progress; Assist in QA process; Create technical specifications identify areas in the application that need to be refactored; Works with various departments and team members to design/or implement new enhancements to existing web application such as SQL table design, SQL stored procedure design, and process design in designated programming language Track changes required by development; communicate to QA Team any abnormalities required to push changes from development through production; Inform Manager, Application Engineering of improvements needed to the application by refactoring, optimization, or other solutions; Identify and communicate problems that negatively impact applications and propose solutions; . Provide estimates for project tasks using an internal project tool and update estimates as needed. Position requires a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, related field or foreign equivalent; 2 years of .NET experience; 2 years of C# experience; 3 years of SQL Experience; 1 year of experience in a scripting language such as Python, Perl or Java script; and 2 years of MVC experience.
