Reporting to the Managing Director of Brokerage Products, the Annuity and Insurance Manager is responsible for product strategy, development/selection, and execution of annuity and insurance solutions for clients within Truist Wealth.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead product strategy, development and execution for the annuity platform in support of over 1,000 advisors that serve the retail and high net worth (up to $25 million in assets) segments in the $120 billion in AUM Broker/Dealer.

  • Develop and implement a proactive sales & marketing strategy designed to increase product adoption and drive revenue growth.

  • Maintain a due diligence process that reviews current and potential annuity solutions in an effort to create and implement a robust and competitive platform.

  • Formulate and present product-line business cases to executive management and risk committees.

  • Develop and implement internal policies & procedures in order to ensure business continuity, regulatory compliance and alignment with overall Truist Wealth policies.

  • Act as the main liaison between Truist Wealth and TIH, LLC, with a focus on creating appropriate accountabilities for both entities to promote the usage of life, long-term care, and disability solutions with Truist Wealth clients.

  • Participate as a voting member and/or subject matter expert (SME) in assigned risk committees and working groups in an effort to validate that recommended and approved solutions match the strategic direction and risk appetite of the firm.

  • Develop and maintain content for internal and external websites.

  • Attract, retain, and promote top talent, with a strong focus on diversity, and build a robust slate of credible successors for key leadership positions and for opportunities across Truist.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training or work-related experience

  • Minimum 10 years of wealth management experience

  • Minimum 10 years of experience with annuities and insurance

  • FINRA Registrations 7, 24 and 66 or equivalent

  • Applicable Life, Variable Products, and Long-Term Care licenses

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as the Microsoft Office suite

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Advanced degree or designation, such as CFP®, CLU, ChFC

  • Demonstrated proficiency in annuity research tools
