Exciting opportunity to join a growing, fast-paced Healthcare Company with responsibility to lead the accounting department, play a crucial role in managing financial operations, ensuring compliance with GAAP and supporting leadership in overseeing the financial health of the organization.

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional with strong analytical & communication skills, as well as the ability to thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years' leadership experience, audit & internal controls experience.

responsibilities:

• Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.

• Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.

• Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.

• Support month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and journal entries.

• Assist in the development and implementation of internal controls and financial policies.

• Work with external auditors during audits and ensure timely resolution of audit findings.

• Provide financial analysis and support for strategic initiatives and special projects.

• Collaborate with various departments to ensure accurate and timely financial information.

• Misc. other duties and/or projects, as needed.

qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required

• CPA or CMA certification preferred

• Public accounting audit experience preferred

• Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance

• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards

• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

• Experience with financial audits and compliance
