Job Description Summary:

The Associate Customer Solutions Engineer brings creativity, curiosity and passion to the role. They are developing technical versatility and will deliver differentiated exceptional customer experiences to Rocket’s Product customers by delivering services that allow for successful post-sales deployments of Rocket products. They solve real problems for, and deliver value to, our customers and partners – every day. They deliver successful outcomes for our customers and partners with speed, precision, quality and innovation. They demonstrate that we take our commitments seriously- to our customers, to our partners and to each other.

Technical Expertise

  • Ability to quickly develop technical knowledge on one or more Rocket products

  • Ability to quickly develop general understanding of multiple products across Rocket

  • Ability to quickly develop conceptual and technical knowledge of Rocket products including new releases, new products and interfaces

  • Presents and delivers technical presentations on products

  • Delivers small-scale technical product training to customers

  • Interacts with lab and product support to research and respond to detailed questions from prospective and current customers

  • Delivers the installation, implementation and maintenance of company products

  • Ensure that client’s needs have been met and that the product/solution is fully functioning according to specifications

  • Shares customer feedback to product management for future enhancements

  • Demonstrates growing understanding of the practical application of the products in a variety of customer environments

  • Identifies opportunities for additional customer technology enhancements through understanding of Rocket product solutions

  • Services to Customers

  • Provide exceptional value-driven services to customers

  • Builds upon established solution delivery techniques to help drive continual improvement

  • Develops credibility as a Rocket product expert with all audience levels

  • Becomes proficient with product implementation strategies

  • Leverages Rocket subject matter experts to provide effective and creative solutions to Rocket customers

  • Handles objections professionally; answers questions quickly and coherently; deals with challenges assertively and persuasively

  • Partners with Project Management and technical leads to communicate progress, risks and roadblocks considering customer objectives, timeframe and budget

  • Gains an understanding of the customer business and seeks to identify opportunities where Rocket can bring added value to the customer

  • Appropriate to developed skills, guides client best practice configuration and use of Rocket products and trains customers in administration and use of the products

Experience & Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of related technology experience: Product Team Specific Technical Qualifications

  • Applying Software Development Methodologies

  • Excellent interpersonal skills: Critical thinking, analytical and problem solving, relationship management, excellent written and verbal communications

The base salary range for this role is $54,845.00 - $68,556.50 /year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
