Shepard Exposition Services AV Event Solutions Manager in Atlanta, Georgia

The AV Event Solutions Manager will be the main liaison between the seller, customer, internal divisions (ES/ESS), and operations staff responsible for solution development, deliverables, and transition of AV events or other events as assigned by the supervisor.

Essential Job Duties

  • Engage in client discovery calls with assigned sellers to identify objectives and client solutions

  • Maintain regular contact with the client throughout the selling and planning phases of the project

  • Manage client deliverables during project discovery and planning

  • Oversee the consultation and preparation of CAD floor plans / technical drawings to meet customer milestones (in collaboration with assigned Project Manager)

  • Communicate and coordinate with facilities (in collaboration with assigned Sales and Production Manager) to effectively communicate with facility CSM and coordinate room access

  • Establish and communicate deadlines that are acceptable both to the customer and to Shepard AV via the Critical Path

  • Coordinate and lead integrated pre-event meetings and internal SAV pre-event meetings with operations/sales as needed

  • Orchestrate show planning to ensure all details of the show are communicated with operations prior to the move-in of an event

  • Coordinate and conduct pre-event tie-down (with customer and/or operations team)

  • Request structural projects/stage sets using established portals (OLP)

  • Respond to all communications in a timely manner

  • Champion a sense of urgency with all internal and external stakeholders

  • All other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Ability to perform as a responsible ESOP owner making daily decisions to benefit the client and the company

  • Proven experience as an Account Executive, Sales Representative, or similar role within the AV industry

  • Strong written and verbal communication as well as organizational skills

  • Excellent responsiveness and ability to balance multiple accounts

  • Ability to meet deadlines within a fast-paced environment

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field; equivalent experience may be exchanged for formal education
