CD APA2 Project Accountant

for the

Atlanta , GA

Experienced Project Accountant role. Work with Project Manager to ensure job costs are properly allocated. Responsible for larger projects with less supervision.

1) Verify that compliance requirements are met for release of Subcontractor funds.

2) Review of Subcontractor line items in cost report for accuracy and work with Project Manager for correction of errors. Exposure to additional line items in cost report to expand knowledge of processing.

3) Coordination of miscellaneous project tasks with Project Manager

4) Visits with projects regularly to understand issues

5) Accrual of subcontractor costs and entry into appropriate systems

6) Review and approval of subcontractor pay applications

7) Project invoice approval and analysis via WGIP

8) Training Associate PA and PA I on department processes. May work with jobsite PE level with questions on accounting processes.

9) Review and accrual of owner billings and entry into appropriate systems.

10) Journal entry cost as necessary for non-confidential items.

11) Run and review report of outstanding accounts receivable review and contact Project Manager for collection.

12) Review forecasts and analysis of transactions on job cost report.

13) New job setup in CMiC. Reviewing job profile for accuracy and completion. Populating phase codes for availability in CMiC.
