Compensation:

$15/hr to $24/hr USD. - Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

A Fortune 100 client of Insight Global is looking for an Azure Cloud Services Engineer in Sofia, Bulgaria to join their Cloud team. This candidate will be responsible for delivering cloud operational services, implementing innovative cloud solutions that drive the company's strategic objectives forward. This role is focused on Service Delivery, Operational Support and engineering of core Azure cloud IaaS, PaaS, & SaaS service offerings. It includes, establishing and following sustainable support processes, metrics driven operational support and maintenance, service outage resolution, delivering & commercializing new cloud capabilities/services, and interactions with other support teams to deliver according to plans/strategy. The team they will be joining is a mix of roughly 15 junior and senior Cloud/DevOps Engineers. The variety of skill levels on the team offers a tremendous opportunity for development and growth. They will be working on a team of 30+ total cloud engineers and completing day to day projects alongside 6-7 of those engineers.

Skills and Requirements

Minimum 2-3 years of experience in working in a Google Cloud Platform environment

  Minimum 2-3 years of experience in OS support/engineering (linux is preferred as majority of the service moving forward will be linux).

  Practical experience with the following:

   OS support, troubleshooting, and maintenance (Linux or Windows).

   GCP services such as Compute Engine, App Engine, Cloud Functions, Kubernetes Engine, and BigQuery.

   GCP networking fundamentals VPC, Subnets, DNS, and Load Balancing.

   Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Deployment Manager, or similar.

   Automation and scripting: Python, Bash, Go.

   Cloud security design and best practices.

   CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).

   Containers and orchestration Docker, Kubernetes (GKE).

   Serverless technologies Cloud Run, Cloud Functions.

   Monitoring and logging tools Cloud Logging and Monitoring. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline

  Knowledge in the following areas is advantageous:

   Hybrid and multi-cloud architectures.

   Big Data processing frameworks (e.g., Dataflow, Dataproc).

   Machine Learning services (e.g., AI Platform, AutoML).
