Google Environmental Health and Safety Training Program Manager in Atlanta, Georgia

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 8 years of experience in program or project management.

  • Experience with Environmental Health and Safety.

  • Experience in Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) training program development and management.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 8 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.

  • Professional certification in EHS or training and development (e.g., CSP, CHMM, CPTM).

  • Experience in using learning management systems and e-learning authoring tools.

  • Demonstrated experience for promoting safety and fostering a culture of continuous learning.

  • Solid knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.

As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

In this role, you'll have the opportunity to shape the Global Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Training Strategy for a rapidly scaling Technical Infrastructure organization. You will have direct impact into advising, designing, and delivering on innovative, effective, and engaging training that drives next level EHS performance from our workforce.

This role will also be pivotal in establishing a recognized EHS training program that sets the standard for the industry for innovation and effectiveness.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $165,000-$248,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Lead design, delivery, and continuous improvement of a comprehensive EHS training program that sets the industry benchmark. Ensure the program is compliant and scalable as well as positions Compliance Safety and Risk Management (CSRM) as a leader in EHS training innovation.

  • Forge solid partnerships with EHS leaders, subject matter experts, and cross-functional teams. Ensure all training content is seamlessly aligned with Technical Infrastructure's evolving EHS priorities, objectives, and standards.

  • Build and nurture relationships with training providers and influential industry organizations. Proactively leverage their expertise and resources to infuse best practices into GDC's training initiatives.

  • Monitor training effectiveness through various metrics, including learner feedback, performance data, and business impact. Design, collect, and analyze a myriad of data points to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for further training initiatives and programs.
