job summary:

Project Manager needed in Atlanta, GA supporting a top EPC firm. The PM will collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage all phases of project execution, including safety, quality, schedule, cost control, contracts, risk management, stakeholder communication, and project closeout. Responsibilities include planning, siting, engineering, permitting, procurement, and construction management for Electric Transmission and Distribution, Gas Transmission, Generation/Supply Interconnection, and major customer connection projects. Ideal candidates will have at least 5 years of experience in project management, a bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management, and proficiency with project management software. PMP certification is a plus.

responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional program teams, including project managers and functional specialists.

  • Maintain professional relationships and clear communication with clients, program teams, subcontractors, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders.

  • Manage project lifecycle, including development, execution, and closeout in greenfield and brownfield locations.

  • Oversee planning, scoping, siting, outreach, engineering, permitting, real estate acquisition, procurement, contracting, construction, and project controls.

  • Ensure project scope and deliverables meet client requirements.

  • Identify, communicate, and mitigate risks and issues with program managers, project teams, and clients.

  • Develop and manage project schedules to achieve program goals.

  • Maintain detailed and accurate project cost forecasts and accruals.

  • Develop, implement, and improve project policies and standard procedures.

  • Utilize document control, scheduling, cost control, and project management software effectively.

  • Collaborate in a multi-disciplinary team environment to resolve issues and accomplish objectives.
