Field Service Technician (LATAM)

Description

Textron Specialized Vehicles Inc. is a leading global manufacturer of golf cars, utility and personal transportation

vehicles, snowmobiles, side-by-sides, all-terrain vehicles, professional turf-care equipment, and ground support

equipment. Textron Specialized Vehicles markets products under several different brands. Its vehicles are found in

environments ranging from golf courses to factories, airports to planned communities, and theme parks to hunting

preserves.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform complex diagnostics, service repairs, and maintenance work on customer and/or company

ground support equipment.

  • Diagnose and repair engine mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues (diesel, gas and LP drivetrains).

  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, and air start systems using schematics.

  • Use a variety of computer software Powertrain Management Systems to diagnose issues.

  • Complete digital service reports accurately and in a timely manner.

  • Communicate all safety concerns and customer requests to the service team and provide recommended

solutions.

  • Provide customers with support including answering parts and service calls, providing operating

instructions, and training customers on maintenance/operating procedures at the designated location.

  • Perform equipment testing to confirm proper operation of all functions on equipment.

  • Identify and order required parts by working from maintenance manuals and collaborating with the

service team

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED required

  • Years of Experience: 5 or more years of experience working with gas, diesel, electric engines, or other

related experience

  • Valid Driver’s License and the ability to obtain and maintain an Airport issued ID badge

  • Bilingual in English/ Spanish preferred

  • Travel Requirements: 75% - 85% of the time
