A career in Information Technology, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to support our core business functions by deploying applications that enable our people to work more efficiently and deliver the highest levels of service to our clients. You’ll focus on managing the design and implementation of technology infrastructure within PwC, developing and enhancing both client and internal facing applications within PwC, and providing technology tools that help create a competitive advantage for the Firm to drive strategic business growth.

Our System Architecture team helps build customisable specific system solutions that enhance PwC’s system capabilities to appropriately serve all client needs. As part of the team, you’ll use enterprise architecture across application areas to build delivery models that map PwC capabilities to business needs outlined by clients.

4 year(s) of relevant experience in progressive roles managing IT architecture and engineering designs and domains.

Preferred Knowledge/Skills:

Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success as a team leader by:

  • Understanding architectural design and application delivery;

  • Understanding of Microsoft Graph framework principles and deployment considerations;

  • Demonstrating a deep understanding of Microsoft Security and Compliance designs and implications to enable global adoption;

  • Understanding robust analytical thinking skills with the ability to identify, debug and resolve technical issues;

  • Understanding lean IT principles and data driven approaches;

  • Understanding business acumen that can interpret and translate goals into technical specifications to drive technology change;

  • Building trusting and influential relationships and engaging with vendors and third parties as appropriate;

  • Collaborating with other Architects to provide technical design guidance to align with security strategy and technical standards;

  • Working independently to evaluate and make strategic decisions that will address specific technology design needs;

  • Keeping up to date with industry trends to recommend 3rd party applications for PwC employee to leverage;

  • Exhibiting proven thought-leader level abilities as an M365 Security/Compliance engineer and successful collaboration platform migrations;

  • Understanding Microsoft Cloud collaboration platforms including Azure, PowerPlatform, and Office;

  • Demonstrating knowledge of AzureAD and AzureAD Connect;

  • Possessing knowledge of various features and configurations available in Exchange, SPO, Teams, and the PowerPlatform;

  • Writing and using windows PowerShell scripting to automate tasks;

  • Administering O365 platform including Exchange Online, Sharepoint Online, and Microsoft Teams;

  • Providing 'VIP' and hands on support for 1000+ engagement team;

  • Understanding and mitigating the impact of technical design to security, performance and data privacy; and,

  • Communicating effectively at different levels within and outside the organization, leadership/management, business stakeholders, and vendors.

The salary range for this position is: $73,000 - $240,000, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. For roles that are based in Maryland, this is the listed salary range for this position. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
