The Government Affairs Intern will provide high-level coordination and support to the Government Affairs Team as a shared service for all of the Inspire Brands. The role will support the Government Affairs team in developing and implementing advocacy strategies, track and report on strategic objectives, and support the political action committees (PACs) of Dunkin’ and Inspire Brands.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Monitors, researches, and analyzes proposed legislative and regulatory development and how they impact the brand

• Prepares and presents verbal and written status updates on legislative, regulatory and policy developments and position papers to internal stakeholders

• Assist with the development and solicitation of the Dunkin’ PAC and Inspire Brands PAC.

• Facilitates engagement initiatives both virtual and in-person across the country

• Drafts periodic government affairs reports and newsletter

• Provides miscellaneous support to team in field, as needed

EDUCATION QUALIFICATION:

Required Minimum: Seniors or Enrolled in graduate program

EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATION:

Preferred: Experience in political process (campaign work, intern experience with lawmakers at federal, state, or local level)

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS OR ABILITIES:

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Ability to multi-task effectively

• Strong team orientation and interpersonal skills

• Well-organized and a self-starter

• Excellent attention to detail

• Preferred: Knowledge of the political process
