Note: The hourly rate for this position is $30 - $32 / hour + DOE. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. Job Responsibilities:
Inspect and diagnose equipment issues
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy machinery
Replace worn or defective parts
Conduct tests and adjustments to ensure proper operation
Maintain records of repairs and maintenance
Collaborate with operators to understand issues and provide solutions
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
Qualifications & Experience:
2 or more years of proven experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic
Strong understanding of machinery and mechanics
Ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical issues effectively
Familiarity with various tools and equipment used in repair and maintenance
Precision in repairs and maintenance to ensure equipment safety and efficiency
Ability to explain technical issues to non-technical personnel
Competent with reading blueprints, drawings, & diagrams
Ability to stand, bend, kneel and walk for extended periods throughout the day
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
