Note: The hourly rate for this position is $30 - $32 / hour + DOE. Job Responsibilities:

• Inspect and diagnose equipment issues

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy machinery

• Replace worn or defective parts

• Conduct tests and adjustments to ensure proper operation

• Maintain records of repairs and maintenance

• Collaborate with operators to understand issues and provide solutions

• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment

Qualifications & Experience:

• 2 or more years of proven experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic

• Strong understanding of machinery and mechanics

• Ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical issues effectively

• Familiarity with various tools and equipment used in repair and maintenance

• Precision in repairs and maintenance to ensure equipment safety and efficiency

• Ability to explain technical issues to non-technical personnel

• Competent with reading blueprints, drawings, & diagrams

• Ability to stand, bend, kneel and walk for extended periods throughout the day

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
