Delta Air Lines, Inc. Intern, Aviation Management – Delta Professional Services (Summer 2025) in Atlanta, Georgia

How you'll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities)

A Delta Professional Services (DPS) Aviation Management intern will help achieve divisional goals and contribute to DPS' overall success. Interns will be working with a specific team such as, but not limited to, Business systems or Business Administration & Employee Services.

  • Interns will have the opportunity to work with and gain experience in other departments, such as, but not limited to, Account Services, Comms & Engagement, ATP CTP, Sourcing & Pipeline, Flight Operations.

  • This is a paid internship, including additional privileges such as standby travel anywhere in the Delta system while off duty. This is not a remote opportunity, Interns will work on-site at Delta's World Headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)

  • Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Business Administration (Information Technology Management), Aviation Management, or Industrial Engineering (or similar degree with applicable skills)

  • *

Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.

  • Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.

  • *

Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.

  • Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.

  • *

Demonstrates that privacy is a priority when handling personal data.

  • Possess excellent communication skills, be able to process complicated issues quickly, and maintain confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information.

Ability to work under tight deadlines and time constraints while being able to manage and prioritize multiple project requests conjointly

  • Internally motivated, curious, ready to learn, and eager to make an impact

  • *

Strong organizational and time management skills required

  • Must have a comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Access, Word, Excel, Forms PowerPoint, and Smartsheet.

  • *

Show competency in skills that include collection and analysis of data, reading and summarizing new regulations, and the ability to problem solve quickly.

  • Have a competitive GPA and be in good academic standing with your university.

  • *

Must be able to work onsite in the Atlanta, GA office

  • Must commit to the internship timeline: May 12th, 2025, through August 1st, 2025.
