Micron Technology, Inc. Intern - DRAM DFT Design Engineer in Atlanta, Georgia

As a DFT Design Engineer Intern at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be responsible for designing and analyzing digital and analog circuits used in the development and testing of memory products. We are engaged in optimizing DRAM testing and telemetry solutions through circuit and methodology innovation.

In this position, you will collaborate with Micron’s various design, product, and verification engineering teams all over the world. These efforts directly contribute to the success of Product Engineering, Test Solutions Engineering, Process Integration, Assembly, and Marketing by proactively designing products with optimized testing functions after consideration of all manufacturing aspects to assure the best cost, quality, reliability, time-to-market, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Contributing to the development of new product opportunities by assisting with the overall design, layout, and optimization of Memory/Logic/Analog circuits

  • Parasitic modeling and assisting in design validation, reticle experiments and required tape-out revisions

  • Considering layout process including floor-planning, placement, and routing in the design of standardized circuits and IP blocks

  • Performing verification processes with modeling and simulation using industry standard simulators

  • Contributing to cross group communication to work towards standardization and group success

  • Working with Marketing, Assembly, Test Solutions Engineering, Process Integration, and Product Engineering groups to ensure accurate manufacturability of product

  • Proactively solicit guidance from Design Experts, Standards, CAD, Modeling, Quality, and Verification groups to improve the design reliability and testability

  • Driving innovation into the future Memory generations within a dynamic work environment

Candidates will need to work and communicate well in a collaborative team environment consisting of:

  • Management of assigned engineering tasks with given input parameters and desired results.

  • Presenting, documenting, and communicating engineering problems and solutions to the team.

  • Collecting data through simulation, discussions with subject-matter guides, and design-database research.

Education:

  • Must be pursuing a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering

  • Must be continuing education in Fall of 2025
