Job Summary

The IT Analyst Rotational Program puts IT careers on the fast track by combining leadership development with the challenge of rotational job assignments. The program develops leaders with strong technical and project management skills through four (4) assignments over a 24 month period. The program provides on-the-job training in technology, finance, leadership and business and exposure to senior leaders through formal and informal meetings, roundtables, and discussions. The Analyst will have the opportunity to explore four of the following IT career areas:

Business Solutions Delivery Solution Architecture Business Intelligence and Analytics Infrastructure Operations Cyber Security and Audit Agile Program Management Vendor Management

Responsibilities

Making a measurable impact in the way APG IT operates Immersing oneself in the work responsibilities of each area to learn the importance of the area and how it supports APG Learning the technology and systems used in each area Gaining an understanding of the organizational structures, general business knowledge and the analysis of supporting applications Work independently and within a team under hybrid methodology, advancing individual and team skills and improve team adoption of governance and best practices Maintain a strong coaching relationship with mentors Provide an End-of-Rotation Presentation to Leadership team on learnings and contributions to the role Willing to travel up to 20% may be required of this position

Requirements

Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information systems or computer engineering preferred - business degree or technical field may be applicable Minimum 3.0 overall GPA, or equivalent outside the U.S. Passion and aptitude for technology Technical/analytical skills and sharp business acumen with past relevant work experience Customer focus and good listening skills Integrity, trustworthiness and dependability Interpersonal savvy and ability to develop positive peer relationships Strong time management skills
