Oldcastle APG, Inc.'s 2024 Summer Internship Program is designed to provide a professional environment for undergraduate students to gain real-world experience at a global industry-leading manufacturer in the architectural products industry. The program will run from early June through early August and will provide exposure to valuable learning opportunities within the corporate functions of the organization through assignments, projects, and collaboration. This is the perfect opportunity for undergraduate students to apply their knowledge and creativity to a growth-oriented company with headquarters in Atlanta, GA.

Position Summary

APG IT Interns work on real-world projects in collaboration with highly skilled Functional, Technical and Data Analytics experts from around the world. The internship program is designed to provide you with hands on experience working in your field of specialization as well as building your own network of IT practitioners within a customer driven culture. Throughout the internship you will:

Gain hands-on experience with various cloud-based enterprise technologies eg. Salesforce, Oracle TMS, Infor M3, Tableau, Snowflake, ServiceNow Work closely with your team, manager, and mentors to develop requirements, estimate costs, create, and implement features and services. Experience technical disciplines such as Agile and ITIL throughout the duration of your internship.

Skills, Knowledge and Ability Requirements

Students pursuing Bachelor's Degree Program in Junior year of College or Third year of University (Anticipated Graduation date of Fall 2024 or Spring 2025) Concentration in computer science / engineering, data science / engineering or related technical major Ability to attend program hosted in Atlanta, GA Strong willingness to learn Proficiency with Office 365 tools, including Sharepoint, Flows, PowerApps, and automation within Office 365 Python, Java, C/C , HTML SAS SQL Database, Querying languages. PowerShell experience is nice to have Java using the Apache Struts framework Splunk Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems, administering networks, file servers and PCs Experience with software development, configuring computer systems and software, database administration, real-time simulation, automation JSIG/RMF and Information Assurance
