Job Description Summary

This GE Vernova Lean Leader will report to the GE Vernova Lean Transformation Director and work to drive continuous improvement in the GE Vernova Organization. This leader will work closely with the GE Vernova Procurement team, and other functions as needed, to help operationalize their strategic vision and build organizational capabilities through hands on initiatives.

This individual will serve as a facilitator, change agent and accountability partner to GE Vernova teams. They will also support the GE Vernova Lean Team in its initiative to operationalize the GE Vernova Operating Method, driving synergies across the enterprise to achieve business objectives.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities

  • Lead hands on initiatives (Kaizens, just-do-its, Projects) through implementation of Lean tools & philosophy to drive process improvement (value stream mapping, standard work, kaizen, Daily Management, Transactional Process Improvement, Problem Solving, etc).

  • Deploy operational strategies around SQDC and sustainability.

  • Develop, Identify, and deploy Lean tools designed to drive core revenue growth of the business (e.g. Supplier Base Management, Cost Savings & Funnel Management, Transportation & Logistics Management, etc.).

  • Assess current team organizational competency; assist in the development of the GE Vernova Energy Roadmap for Procurement and other function as needed., in partnership with the commodity team and business units.

  • Manage overall governance and key operating processes (Hoshin Kanri initiatives, etc.) and ensure coordination at leadership team level and through the organization.

  • Create an environment to foster employee engagement, diversity, professional development, and high levels of employee satisfaction.

  • Lead transformation initiatives, supporting continuous improvement and optimization of end-to-end processes.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university

  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in implementing continuous improvement initiatives

  • Demonstrated sustainable changes successfully in transactional environments.

  • Impactful communicator with experience working and leading cross-culturally in large, matrixed organizations – understands how to navigate geographies, cultures, relationships, etc.

  • Highly collaborative person, comfortable with conflict and debate normally associated with change.

  • Proven mentoring and coaching abilities; demonstrated ability to motivate and inspire others and to lead with humility, transparency, and focus.

  • Strong interpersonal, writing, and presentation skills; ability to conceptualize, structure, and present compelling stories to a wide range of audiences.

  • Strong alignment with GE Vernova Way, including being a strong advocate for creating diverse and inclusive environments.

The base pay range for this position is $131,600.00 - 175,400.00 USD Annual. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for a 15% bonus.
