Delta’s Enterprise Digital Strategy organization is seeking a Manager, Enterprise Payments to lead and deliver on Enterprise Payment Strategy. This role is responsible for ensuring Delta’s Payment Platform supports the Financial Goals of the organization while also maintaining and growing the ability for Delta to securely and efficiently collect and process our customers’ payments of choice (e.g. Credit Card, alternative forms of payments, credits, miles, etc.).
This leader will lead a team that ensures continued collection of all payments, maintains payment card industry (PCI) compliance, and stays ahead of payment innovations and mandates. The successful candidate will work across the organization to develop and deliver a reliable and flexible payment infrastructure. The selected candidate will have strong payments industry knowledge, business acumen and technical abilities to drive decisions across multiple domains while managing a team and delivering on payment needs.
Responsibilities:
Lead and coach a team of 3-4 highly skilled and motivated digital product leaders
Define a vision and implement a roadmap for evolving and maturing Delta’s payments capabilities
Deliver on a more seamless customer selling and servicing experience through an integrated payment platform eliminating legacy constraints and processes
Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive delivery of enterprise initiatives
Communicate development needs and progress clearly to partners and stakeholders
Use analytical and critical thinking skills to assess impacts of payment issues and make appropriate tradeoffs and decisions regarding issue resolution
What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)
Minimum eight years of payment industry or equivalent experience required

Strong business knowledge and technical skills with an in-depth understanding of IT product management
Capable of running multiple projects with limited supervision in a fast-paced environment

Passionate about results and able to prioritize conflicting interests with seemingly disparate goals
Ability to define problems, identify trade-offs, develop solutions, and communicate in a timely, accurate and effective manner

Demonstrated leadership experience in managing complex processes with a proven record of delivering results working across various commercial and technology divisions.

What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications)
Degree in a process or project management field such as Business Administration, Operations Research, Finance, or Engineering
Working experience with Agile product management methodology
