Role description:

Arcadis seeks an experienced leader to join our National Asset Management team as Principal Asset Management Consultant. In this position, you will oversee growth of the Asset Management Operations into new markets. As a Principal Asset Management Consultant, you will work with regional and national management to develop and achieve growth targets, stand up new programs and projects, and support our team's individual staff growth to deliver these new programs and projects. Candidates will also assist project specific pursuit leaders with developing pursuit strategy and improving client relationships.

This is a hybrid position assigned to our Atlanta, GA office. Candidates will have the ability to work a hybrid schedule but will be required to attend internal and external client meetings in person as needed.

Role accountabilities:

Growth: Coordinate with account leaders, other department leaders, and regional management to identify and position future opportunities. This includes maintaining client relationships across a variety of clients and identification of additional resources to meet future project needs.

Operations: Work with regional and national management to develop and achieve operational performance goals and adhere to standards related to the Arcadis Way of Project Management.

Project Delivery: Collaborate with project managers and production team to define schedules and methodologies for complex projects including those for public and private sector clients. Additionally, directly and indirectly oversee technical execution of complex projects including analysis, design, maintenance and operations.

Project Management: Serve as Project or Program Manager for the stand up of regionally significant projects.

Staff Management and Recruiting: This position includes the potential for direct management responsibilities for staff hired in emerging markets. This includes the planning of short and long-term goals and monitoring of workload for assign staff.

Internal Campaigns/Initiatives: Assist/champion internal initiatives including those related to staff growth, strategic positioning, office operations, and global strategy.

Qualifications and Experience:

Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or similar field 20 years of relevant, post degree work experience in traffic engineering analysis, design, and/or operations preferred 10 years of management experience including project and resource management Prior experience working with various clients including state DOTs, local agencies, and/or private sector clients Experience with complex asset management projects Excellent verbal and written communication skills Must possess a US Drivers license

Preferred Skills and Proficiencies: Experience working with State Departments of Transportation Experience working across a variety of transportation asset classes Attention to detail is critical in the success of this position Ability to work well in groups as well as independently

Arcadis offers benefits for full time and part time positions. We offer nine paid holidays and 15 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $116,000.00-174,000.00. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
