Description
We are on the lookout for a skilled Procurement Specialist in the Real Estate & Property industry, working REMOTE. As a Procurement Specialist, your role would encompass a wide range of responsibilities, including vendor administration, contract management, and analytical tasks. You will also be expected to interact with various stakeholders and ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions.
Responsibilities:
• Develop, review, and manage bid packages along with team members, facilitate RFP activity, and conduct thorough analysis of quotations.
• Oversee the onboarding process of vendors, manage their accreditation, and handle overall vendor administration.
• Prepare and facilitate negotiation with suppliers on contracts, ensuring accuracy in areas such as Scope of Work, Pricing, and Site & Equipment Lists.
• Utilize Contract Repository for vendor contract storage, administration and overall compliance, also making sure that updates, amendments and renewals are processed in a timely manner.
• Monitor and report on vendor performance trends, ensuring contract compliance with policies and review compliance of service agreements - terms and conditions.
• Keep organized records and establish tracking programs for vendor documentation compliance.
• Assist in resolving vendor issues from the Client and the Account Team, ensuring the implementation of high-quality long-term solutions that meet stakeholder expectations.
• Conduct research on the supply base for consolidation and improvement in service levels for the Client Account.
• Prepare and distribute reports and statistical data to facilitate planning and maintenance of accurate contract records and files.
• Ensure adherence to current procurement practices, policies, and procedures
Requirements • Possess at least 2 years of experience in a Procurement Specialist role or similar capacity within the Real Estate & Property industry.
• Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of budget processes is essential.
• Proven experience in buying processes within the real estate sector is required.
• Excellent customer service skills are mandatory to interact effectively with various stakeholders.
• Ability to handle invoices, including preparation, tracking, and management.
• Strong skills in sourcing, including identifying potential suppliers and negotiating contracts.
