Position Summary

The department of Network for Community-engaged Primary Care Research ( NCPCR ) seeks a Program Manager for the Administrative Core program, a national project. The Program Manager is responsible for successfully executing year-long engagement strategies with community partners. The position will participate in the development, management and implementation of programs and activities with community partners and work to build a strong collaborative network of diverse community partners. This role is responsible for tracking and presenting program data to project leadership. This individual will report to the Administrative Core Project Director ( ACPD ) for the MSM CPCRN Project in the Administrative Core. He/she will aid the team and take the lead in ensuring the accomplishment of program objectives are met. The Program Manager develops, coordinates and advises the ACPD , PIs and the Assistant Network Director of SERCN regarding successful program engagement activities. Funded by the National Institutes of Health, the MSM CPCRN Project goal will be to narrow the health inequities widened by the COVID -19 pandemic among disproportionately impacted populations in the primary care safety net across the southeastern United States (US). This project aims to advance equity among communities served by Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) in the Southeast, who serve medically underserved communities with high poverty rates and high concentrations of racial and ethnic minority groups.

Minimum Qualifications

Education:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree from a regionally accredited institution

Experience:

  • Two (2) years of related program experience.

  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office suite

    Preferred Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’ s Degree from a regionally accredited institution in Business or a related field

Experience:

  • Five (5) years of experience in higher education or community-based organizations

  • Excellent Project Management Skill

  • Experience working on programs with national reach

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills

  • Experience with tracking and monitoring programs

  • Experience developing and supporting large- scale engagement activities.

  • Knowledge of advocacy and mobilization techniques.

  • Experience with public speaking and delivering presentations to individuals and groups.

Job Duties

Description of Job Duty

  • Manage and execute comprehensive strategies for the project.

  • Work in collaboration with the Director, Associate Network Director for SERCN , stakeholder advisory board members and partners to manage and help advance the goals of the project.

  • Work closely with the Director, Associate Network Director for SERCN , Community Engagement and the project partners to manage the participant recruitment and strategic priorities and goals that are informed by our key stakeholders.

  • Develop innovative strategies to keep the advisory board engaged and active in the network.

  • Serve as the liaison to the cores, practice facilitators, consultants to gather feedback and insight on their activities.

  • Work collaboratively with Cross-Network Program Manager and Health Communications Specialist to ensure cohesive and informed strategies throughout the project.

  • Cultivate and manage relationships with key stakeholders.

  • Work across all projects and cores to ensure that all deliverables and objectives are me.

  • Engage with community partners to gain insights and co-innovate programs.

  • Create program guidelines and governance.

  • Oversee partner evaluation process.

  • Develop engagement strategies to drive program awareness and growth.

  • Compile reports on activities and successes of the cores.

  • Implement processes to acquire, renew, and retain project partners.

It is MSM’s Immunization policy that all Prospective Employees are required to provide proof that they are vaccinated against COVID -19 prior to commencement of employment. If employment will commence during Flu Season, MSM requires all individuals to provide proof that they are vaccinated against Seasonal Influenza for the current Flu Season, unless granted an exemption.
