A Senior Buyer/Planner for a medical devices and equipment manufacturing company is needed in the Sandy Springs, GA (hybrid) area. The Senior Buyer/Planner is responsible for managing procurement and supply chain planning to ensure timely delivery of materials, maintaining supplier relationships, coordinating with internal teams, and optimizing inventory levels to align with production schedules and demand forecasts.

responsibilities:

• Perform purchasing activities and manage supplier relationships to secure necessary goods and materials.

• Coordinate with supply planning, production scheduling, quality assurance, and sourcing teams to align procurement strategies.

• Oversee end-to-end supply planning and management from internal and external vendors.

• Collaborate with suppliers, commercial teams, Regulatory Affairs, and Quality Assurance to ensure effective supply processes.

• Assess and adjust supply constraints to meet customer expectations while minimizing cash outflow and mitigating risks of excess or obsolete inventory.

• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) like Supply Plan Attainment, Safety Stock Health, Capacity Utilization, Back Order, and Lead Time.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree - Required.

• 4+ years of supply chain experience - Required.

• Experience in medical device industry - Preferred.
