Mastercard's Marketing Services Technology team is looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager to provide technical ownership, with an emphasis on engineering excellence and on-time delivery. As part of our team, you will bring your technical and management skills to ensure the successful design, build, test, deployment, and scale of Mastercard's next generation marketing platform.

The Senior Technical Program Manager will play a leading role in the managing the build of the platform using new and emerging technologies. You'll lead a talented and nimble team of engineers to create innovative ways to develop innovative solutions and transform the way Mastercard automates, optimize and innovate digital marketing life cycle.

Position Responsibilities:

In this role, you will:

• Be responsible for driving engineering excellence including process improvements, and on time delivery.

• Plan, execute, and deliver technical projects from inception to completion.

• Work closely with team of front and backend engineers and be responsible for design & development of user interface., REST APIs and webservices using Java, Spring Boot and other emerging technologies.

• Manage and ensure the timely scoping, design, implementation, and release of complex features

• Proactively identify roadblocks and challenges, and brainstorm and execute contingency plans throughout project execution

• Work closely with team of front and backend engineers and be responsible for design & development of user interface., REST APIs and webservices using Java, Spring Boot and other emerging technologies.

• Be responsible for assessing technologies and approaches for integrating backend data services with user interface.

• Plan, design and develop technical solutions and alternatives to meet business requirements in adherence with MasterCard standards, processes and best practices.

• Participate in PoCs (Proof of Concept) and help the Department with selection of vendor solutions, technologies, methodologies and frameworks.

• Align with product owners and program managers to build product delivery roadmap.

• Understand complex application data flows and bridge the gap between • technical and business requirements.

• Guide and drive effective collaboration within all parties needed for project execution.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

• Experience breaking down problems, organizing work, planning sprints, and delivering technical programs in agile delivery models across multiple teams.

• Have prior software development experience with Java, Spring Boot and Microservices (REST API).

• Familiar with Modern Web Development in React and/or Angular (2+), NodeJS, GraphQL, etc.

• Understand Domain Driven Design (DDD) and Event Driven design (EDD).

• Govern automated quality framework based on JUnit and Mockito and have solid understanding of BDD testing framework.

• Understand CI/CD using tools like Jenkins.

• Have excellent oral and written communication.

• Be familiar with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Curious mindset and willingness to ask questions to identify solutions to faced challenges.

• Demonstrated experience building relationships and partnering with many teams and roles.

• Enjoys diving deep to understand of the platforms capabilities and underlying technologies.

• Can communicate to executives, peers, and stakeholders with impact, eloquence, and authenticity.

• Passion for analytical / quantitative problem solving.

• Track record of identifying and implementing improvements to team development processes.

• Have demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly.

Location Requirements: This is a hybrid position based in Mastercard's Atlanta, Georgia Tech Hub.

In line with Mastercard’s total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. Pay Ranges

Atlanta, Georgia: $94,000 - $157,000 USD
