Delta Air Lines, Inc. has multiple openings for Senior TPF Developers in Atlanta, Georgia.
Job Responsibilities:
Participate in the development, maintenance, enhancement, and support of Electronic Ticketing applications.
Analyze business requirements in order to provide the technical design of computer software.
Develop and maintain computer software using programming expertise in C++, Basic Assembler Language, and Sabretalk for the zTPF environment.
Develop appropriate software and documentation according to Delta standards.
Support and troubleshoot computer systems as required, optimizing performance, resolving problems, and providing timely follow up on all problems.
Follow Delta standards and methodologies in the development and implementation of computer software.
Work/consult across multiple complex projects and function as a technical leader.
Responsible for providing hands on expert level assistance to junior developers for technical issues.
Practice safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures.
Collaborate on creating software for Delta Airlines.
Telecommuting permitted up to 2-3 days a week.
What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)
Building computer software within the Airline business

Developing and maintaining software for a z/Transaction Processing Facility operating system
Transaction Processing Facility (TPF) application
*
Structure and concept of Electronic Ticketing applications
Coding in Assembly Programming Language, SabreTalk, C and C++
*
Edifact and teletype messaging formats
Understanding and coding using Transaction Processing Facility Database Facility (TPFDF)
*
Troubleshooting and fixing complex production issues in TPF.
