JPMorgan Chase Software Engineer in Atlanta, Georgia

DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Drive the design, development, testing, deployment, maintenance and enhancement of software/tooling solutions on Amazon Web Services that help application teams track their cloud spend and optimize their operational cost efficiency. Track large datasets related to billing and utilization of public and private cloud services. Set up the data lake using Redshift, Athena, S3 and Glue AWS services. Analyze Java and Python code. Set up the infrastructure using terraform and maintain the code in Bitbucket and setup the CICD pipeline using Jenkins. Engage and improve the whole lifecycle of services - from inception and design, through deployment, operation and refinement. Scale through automation and evolve systems by pushing change that improves reliability and velocity. Design and implement automated deployment strategies that scale with the business.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Applied Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field of study plus 7 years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Senior Java Developer, Associate / Software Engineer, Consultant, or related occupation.

Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: Agile SDLC; Application Architecture Disciplines; Jenkins; NodeJS; Spring; Java; Python; React; Shell Scripting; SQL; REST; Maven; Apache Ant; JSON; Apache Zookeeper; AWS Cloud Services; Oracle; Apache Spark; Splunk; GIT; Junit; Unit Testing; and User Acceptance Testing.

Job Location: 3424 Peachtree Rd. NE, Atlanta, GA 30326. Telecommuting permitted up to 40% of the week.
