Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Intake of solution needs and requests from anyone at Emory (could be doctor, surgeon, department leaders, office managers, 3rd party vendors)

• Will conduct a full review/assessment or proposed solutions, looking over architecture questions

• Must have a skillset with a wide variety of technologies so they are able to communicate the need effectively to non IT stakeholders and understand whether or not said solution would work in the Emory environment

• Evaluating emerging technologies and trends

• When they do get a request, being able to vet out what the ask is of the delivery of that tool or technology and identify a solution there

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into digital solutions.

Design end-to-end solutions that integrate various healthcare systems, applications, and data sources to improve operational efficiency and patient care.

Develop architectural designs, specifications, and implementation plans for digital solutions, ensuring alignment with industry standards and best practices.

Evaluate emerging technologies and trends in the healthcare industry, and make recommendations for adoption based on their potential impact and value.

Provide technical leadership and guidance throughout the project lifecycle, from initial concept to deployment and support.

Conduct architectural reviews and assessments to identify opportunities for optimization and enhancement.

Work closely with stakeholders, including healthcare providers, administrators, and IT professionals, to gather requirements and address concerns.

60% of their day will be architecting the implementation of different solutions.

• Taking in new requests, figuring out what the solution is, gather the appropriate paperwork, work with the vendors to make sure they've got budgeting and everything else surrounding that. Then becoming familiar with the solution to know how it fits within our organization. Work to understand all of the different kinds of documentation and touch points involved in these solutions.

30% will be more of the technical setup for applications and implementation.

10 percent would be support.
