Description

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Finance and Accounting Professional with a robust background in company integration to work on a 6–12-month contract. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in post-acquisition integration and consolidation of financial systems, processes, and data. They will be expected to contribute strategic financial expertise and ensure smooth and efficient business processes following company mergers or acquisitions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage all financial activities related to business acquisitions and post-merger integrations.

  • Consolidate and manage the financial architecture and accounts of integrated companies.

  • Conduct detailed financial reporting and analysis to facilitate decision-making.

  • Collaborate with relevant departments (IT, HR, Operations, Legal) to align financial practices and ensure accurate data flow.

  • Reconcile financial discrepancies and resolve any accounting issues.

  • Develop and implement efficient processes and standards for post-integration scenarios.

  • Coordinate with external auditor interaction and provide necessary information for the annual audit.

  • Mentor and provide direction to finance and accounting team members.

    Requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.

  • Relevant professional certification (CPA, CMA, ACCA, or equivalent).

  • Proven experience in company integration, merger, or acquisition scenarios within the finance and accounting domain.

  • Proficiency in accounting software, ERP systems, financial modeling, and forecasting tools.

  • Extensive knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and tax regulations.

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with all levels of management.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with an ability to motivate and develop staff.
